Since my mother died and especially since my brother and his wife died, Christmas has never been the greatest time of the year for me. The insistent Christmas carols piped into shopping malls, the glitter and party atmosphere, the increased barrage of BUYBUYBUY…I get cranky, resentful, impatient of the crowds. Deep . . .
This post is about one of my closest friends, Luisa, who also recently made an appearance in My Life In A Nutshell.. I suspect she’ll want to contradict a bunch of this (e.g. “I am NOT a good cook!”) but she can go ahead because it’s MY list, so there. 🙂 . . .

Made chicken cacciatore (sp?) for Paul & Jodi last night. 🙂 Allison couldn’t make it :-(…she must know about my cooking. Beckett’s painting looks great!!! I’m putting it up in my office. Spending today with Paul; Rand’s showing up this afternoon. Can’t wait to see the new Ookla CDs. 🙂 . . .
Put together a package for the FilKONtario package today consisting of a tape made from the CD master, liner notes, and a print of Beckett Gladney’s cover art. Paul Kwinn is visiting tomorrow night. He’s bringing Beckett’s original painting (Jeff bought this for me for my birthday :-))…can’t wait to . . .
