I’m currently finishing up my solo picture book, I Want To Read All The Books, which is scheduled for release from Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers later this year, and beefing up the book and bonus pages for that book on my website.
I’m just starting the illustration process for a new picture book written by another author. Eagerly waiting for the contract process to be complete so I can officially announce it. Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers.
CURRENT UNCONTRACTED BOOK PROJECTS:
Once the picture book illustration project above is complete, I plan to take some time to focus on my middle grade projects. I won’t be leaving picture books forever, of course! I just really miss my middle grade writing roots, but have been finding it too frustrating to try squeezing in a bit of MG writing every once in a while amidst contracted projects and behind-the-scene personal commitments.
FUTURE ILLUSTRATION WORK:
At present, I am not taking on freelance work (logos, header images, user icons, family portraits etc.), nor self-published books.
