NEWS: I am delighted and honoured to announced that Linda Sue Park and I will be collaborating on GURPLE & PREEN, a broken crayon picture book for Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers! Justin Chanda is editor and Laurent Linn is art director. Scheduled for publication in Summer 2020.

Thank you for your interest in my broken crayon art! To see the full Broken Crayon series (so far) on one page, please visit my Broken Crayon Gallery, Flickr Broken Crayon Gallery or my Broken Crayon Padlet. I also have been posting them and other found object doodles on my Instagram account and will be posting them to my brand-new You never know what will come out of a broken crayon Facebook Page. Visit my LOOK AGAIN page, with info about my found object doodles as well as tips for young found object artists.

I've been thrilled by the response from educators, librarians and young artists/writers to my Broken Crayon art. I've included a selection below and am working on a list of classroom activities (including writing prompts) for free use by educators and homeschoolers. Thanks to all who have tweeted/posted photos!
