Weta Digital group, years ago. Shane is on the right.Ever since Shane McEwan wrote to say that some of the Weta Digital people were fans of my Waiting For Frodo comic (and I brazenly put him in my comic), he and I have been in sporadic touch. We still have yet to meet in person, but I'm delighted to announce that Shane's going to be helping me with Waiting For Bilbo.

As you may have noticed, this comic is in sad need of updating but I have so much going on these days (like illustrating Michael Ian Black's newest picture book for Simon & Schuster!) that I need help.

I'm sooo waiting for this comic... The other day I heard that they were starting to film at last. It seems that you'll have to update. ;)

FWIW, half of the guys in the picture are still at Weta -- though not all of them are still in IT. :)
