Here's how a rejection led to a book deal.

A new YA novel which was nominated for the 2011 Sue Alexander "Most Promising New Work" Award.

Drew this in my sketchbook with a Copic Brush Pen. Used the Squarespace app on my iPhone to take the picture and then to upload it.

Don't ask me why I drew this. For my daily sketchbook drawings, I'm trying not to plan ahead but just see what comes out when I put pen to paper. :-)
