My Illustration Mentor: Cecilia Yung, Penguin

Cecilia said it's okay to tell people so here goes: Cecilia Yung, Art Director at Penguin, is officially mentoring me! I'm pretty thrilled.

For those of you wondering how this came about, see this post about my experience at the SCBWI conference in LA last year. Cecilia said I was her pick when it came to choosing candidates for the SCBWI Illustration Mentorship Program, and we've been in touch ever since.
