Thanks so much for your interest in I'M BORED, a picture book written by Michael Ian Black and illustrated by Debbie Ridpath Ohi (me), published by Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers, 2012. I'm gradually adding new content to the I'M BORED Bonus Page, so please do visit the Site Map regularly to see what's been added.
I've been tickled by the great response that this book has received since its launch, not just from publications and blogs but also parents, teachers and librarians. And the New York Times picked I'M BORED for its Notable Children's Books list!
Here is a list of content that may interest you and your child:
Print-ready activity sheets for young readers.
Other free, print-ready content: Bookplates and gift tags, wide range of gift cards (snarky & non-snarky options) as well as envelope template, "Turn It Off & Read A Book" poster that prints out on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper as well as bookmarks.
Videos about I'M BORED: Check out the homemade music video that a friend and I made with the help of his 7-year-old daughter, for example, or a demonstration of how I drew the Potato in I'M BORED.
How to say "I'm Bored" in other languages: Not only may you and your child find this interesting, but I've already had some parents say they've asked their children to use one of these options rather than say "I'm Bored" in English too often. :-)
Have your child's class write to me, and I'll write back (with doodles!). Here's information for your child's teacher about how to contact me.
Thanks again for your interest in I'M BORED!
