Slow Cooker Experiment

Slow cooker leftovers

Decided to try an experiment today -- I took all the leftover veggies plus some ribs (that wouldn't fit in the pot) from recent party we had, and I'm throwing EVERYTHING into the slow cooker. Added some chicken broth, some spices.
We'll see what happens.

The book peeking out from beside the cooker: Vol. 5 of the FLIGHT series, edited by Kazu Kibuishi. I love this series. Anyway, one of the graphic stories in this particular volume was by Toronto illustrators John Martz and Ryan North.

Bet you're allergic to at least one of the ingredients.

I'm probably preaching to the choir here but if you haven't checked out Kibuishi's AMULET books, do so with all due dispatch. They're quite delightful.
