Allison's already mentioned this in her blog but in case anyone hasn't yet heard, I'm delighted to announce that Urban Tapestry has been invited to be the Guest of Honor at the Ohio Valley Filk Fest in Columbus next October.

If you've never heard of filk, please do read my What Is Filk? post.

We're especially honoured considering the other guests:

Toastmaster: Mitchell & T.J. Burnside-Clapp
Honored Listener: Kathleen Sloan
Interfilk Guest: Tim Jennings

More about each of these guests in future Blatherings, closer to the event.

Looking forward to the event!

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to hearing you guys live again.

Also, that's a fabulous picture of Allison. She looks ready to command an army.

That is wonderful news! I have never been to OVFF; I'll have to see if I can swing it this next year. :)
