I'm going to be in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade, woohoo!

Goldfish

I got a letter in the mail today saying that my application to participate as a Marcher in The Santa Claus Parade has been accepted. And guess what? I'm going to be a GOLDFISH! Is that cool or what?!?

And no, I have no idea what goldfish have to do with Christmas or Santa or winter. But I don't care. I've always wanted to be in The Santa Claus Parade, yay! I won't find out what my Marching Goldfish costume looks like until I arrive on the morning of the Parade, but supposedly it will fit the measurements I sent them with my application.

THANK YOU to Alison George for passing her Santa Claus application form to me!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. Thanks for all the Halloween feedback. I went out and bought some more candy. I'd love to see pics of anyone's pumpkins, decorations, etc. -- feel free to post your URL. I'll take some pics as well.

Hi Debbie. Wow, a marching Goldfish. That's cool. I'd love to see that costume. Can't wait to see it posted on your blog. Just wanted to let you know, I gave you credit for getting me started on blogging and I'm loving it and I'm directing people to your "cards & crafts" website. If you want to check out my pumpkins over the years, please check it out on my blog: kukukawaii.blogspot.com/

Thanks.

:-D Thanks, Brooke. Only a kindred spirit would think I'm a hero for doing this and not a total weirdo. :-D

...I don't see why the two have to be mutually exclusive.

Oooh Debbie, that's so cool! Ian's in the Kingston Santa Claus parade this year, he's dancing with his dancing troop, but it's much cooler to be a marching goldfish. He'll be exceedingly jealous! Have fun! When is it?

I have also always wanted to be in the Toronto Santa Clause Parade, on my "bucket" list. How did you find out where to get an application or what to do? Thanks.
