Doodle experiments, Erica's song, chocolate

Doodles for new comic

Images posted on Blatherings today are my preliminary doodle experiments for a NEW COMIC STRIP. Yesyes, I know I haven't updated my autobiographical comic strip in five months. I'll be resuming posts to that soon as well, now that housestuff is calming down. These new comic strip, however, is for another project and will hopefully bring in a bit of cash. More news on this later.

So Erica N. (now DOCTOR Erica) wrote a song for me about a year ago. She sang it to me at the very end of a convention, sitting in a quiet corner of a hallway. This woman is incredibly smart, talented and witty, and I was torn between being flattered (that she wrote a song about me) and a desire for revenge (because she wrote a song about me). The desire for revenge won. Stay tuned for developments.

[Insert evil maniacal laughter here]

Anyway, Erica has posted the lyrics online, for those interested.

Thanks to all those who participated in my Favourite Chocolate Poll yesterday. The discussion in Livejournal was especially enlightening and drool-provoking. For example, check out these exotic truffles from Vosges! (thanks to Singlemaltsilk for the link)

(Christine H. taught me how to write "drool" in German. :-))
