The Toronto Film Festival opened last night. I came home after UT practice and found the front of our building (which also happens to be the front of Roy Thompson Hall) milling with reporters, flashing lights, limos, people in formal wear. Supposedly some Hollywood types were attending, but I didn't have the patience to wait around to see.

Went to the Pickle Barrel with Jodi and Allison, gabbed a lot, then spent most of the evening preparing packages of songbooks, CDs, and tapes to send to the UK in preparation for our guesting at Didgeriz-Douze.

Went to my sister's place on Wednesday night. Sara invited me to participate in a pillow fight on her parents' bed upstairs. I agreed, but then found out that only ONE pillow was allowed, and that was hers!

Went to see Sixth Sense again, this time with Jeff.

Today's Blathering photo is from the canoe trip: Frebis and me near the top of Sunblood Mountain.
