golden baskets

Had dinner at Golden Thai last night with Helen and Brian. Favourites ordered included "Golden Baskets" (HIGHLY recommended), and coconut lemongrass soup. Yummmmmmmmmmm! Dropped by Tower Records on Yonge Street after, five minutes before it closed. Walk home was cold (!!), but our route took us past Nathan Phillips Square, where the holiday season light display brightened the skating rink and reminded me of my vow to learn how to skate this winter. In the darkness, it was difficult to see the trees themselves, and the effect of all those lights apparently floating in tree-shaped nothingness was magical.

Brian's moving to London, England this weekend. We're going to miss him. :(

I've started a new comic strip, this time work-related and posted on Inkspot at:

It will be semi-autobiographical (that should be interesting) and focussed on the joys and hardships of working online. At least that's the premise I'm starting out with. If any of you have suggestions for a title, please let me know!
