ut christmas

Had fun last night with Allison and Jodi. Went to Swiss Chalet for dinner and had the "Festive Special", which comes with a mini Toblerone bar for dessert (Jodi treated us, a Christmas gift...thanks, Jod!). Went back to Allison's, where I had fun decorating her Christmas tree. She claims I was doing her a favour, but I enjoyed it hugely since I don't get to do that sort of thing anymore. She has a ton of interesting decorations, including quite a few obvious teacher gifts. :-)

We sat around and exchanged gifts (got a cool candle holder and Christmas candles from Allison), guzzled Godet's White Chocolate Liqueur and Bailey's Irish Cream, looked at photos I had taken at Allison's housefilk, generally had a great time. I feel very lucky to have such cool music partners and friends (even though they do abuse me sometimes :-D).

I confessed to Allison, by the way, that I only threw out the mini pumpkin she gave me for Hallowe'en YESTERDAY. (I'm sure Annie is REALLY horrified now :-)). It wasn't gushy or anything on the bottom, in case any of you were wondering. Allison laughed at me and said I could have such hung some holly on it for easy seasonal decorating. Put a heart on it when Valentines' came around, a couple of Easter eggs in the spring, and so on...I think she was mocking me. :)

I'm determined to get that dusty, pre-decorated mini Christmas tree out of our locker today!! I am!!

So what are everyone's plans for the holiday season?
