guest blather: andrea

Had fun last night...played lots of music, ate lots, gabbed. Was truly impressed by Tom's classical guitar skills (esp. considering he's only been playing guitar since January!!). Andrea and Tom brought me Godiva truffles and plum wine and a rose candle! I made butterscotch chip cookies from scratch and they actually turned out ok. Amazing, since I haven't baked cookies in about five years. :-) Allison told me I have to bake cookies every Thursday UT practice from now on. She brought me a mini-pumpkin! I decorated it with various faces, including a sensitively-done portrait of Allison herself. >:-)

ANDREA GUESTBLATHER....

Oooo I see that Debbie hasn't mentioned everything we've done so far . . . We just got back from a long walk on the lake, ate a huge pile of french fries in the sunshine.

Last night we had great fun seeing Jodi and Allison, shared music and silly stories, and drank some plum wine and ate chilled shrimp (actually devoured is more likely). I'll be heading back home tomorrow morning to Cincinnati Life . *sigh*

DEBBIE ADDITION...

And we went to the Harbourfront Antique Fair! GORGEOUS weather today.
