Someone is drilling through the cement floor directly above my office ceiling. At least that's what it sounds like right now...I'm waiting for flecks of paint to start drifting down on my keyboard any second now. Had fun in Nantucket, ate lots of seafood, went sailing and biking, watched the sailboats. Also heard a great folk singer named Linda Worster at The Brotherhood...my heart always goes out to those brave souls who perform in restaurant settings, where people are usually more interesting in eating and talking than listening to music, no matter how good it is. Anyway, I bought one of her CDs and was surprised/pleased to find out she had recorded some of the tracks in Toronto! CURRENT READING: _Ruined By Reading_ by Lynne Sharon Schwartz. Thanks to Mike Lloyd for lending me this. :-) I'm also working my way through the short stories in _River Teeth_ by David James Duncan (found it in The Strand last weekend!).
