banana slugs

Highly entertaining practice last night. Allison and Jodi surprised me by performing a parody of one of my songs by Phil Allcock (lyrics posted soon). Also, Paul Kwinn had sent us a truly creative package themed largely upon The Banana Slug Song (anyone who has seen us perform this song in children's concerts knows why this is one of our favourites) and included a banana slug stuffed toy, a slug picture book (excerpts coming soon), and a banana slug postcard (see above photo excerpt). Today is Godfrey Joseph's birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GODFREY! Am unbelieveably behind in email; please forgive me if I seem to be ignoring anyone's email...I'm not! Really!! It's all been carefully filed, and I hope to catch up next week. Going to visit my in-laws this mom-in-law turns 60! Feel free to wish her a happy birthday but be sure to mention that you know me (else she'll wonder what the heck is going on :)).
